What is a legal document preparer?
A Legal Document Preparer (LDP) is a certified professional authorized to assist with preparing legal documents without giving legal advice. LDPs help individuals complete accurate, court-ready paperwork for matters like divorce, immigration, business formation, estate planning, and more.
